ADVERTISING
DISCLOSURE
How PRESTIGEMARK makes money, what that changes, and — more importantly — what it does not.
The short version
Some outbound links on this website are affiliate links. If you follow one and later open an account with that operator, we may receive a commission from the operator. You are never charged anything, and the terms you receive are identical to those you would get by typing the address yourself. Commission is what pays for the testing, the hosting and the editors' time. It does not buy a score.
Which links are commercial
Every "Visit" button on a brand card or review page is a commercial link, and each one is marked with the standard rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute in our code. Links to the Gambling Commission public register, to support organisations such as BeGambleAware, GamStop UK, GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous, and to our own pages are never commercial and earn us nothing.
How we keep scoring clean
- Scores are produced by an editor against a fixed six-part rubric, from evidence recorded during testing, before any commercial discussion takes place.
- The rubric and its weightings are published in full on our About page, so anyone can check the arithmetic.
- Commercial staff cannot change a score, a ranking, or the wording of a criticism. That authority sits with the editor-in-chief alone.
- Every review lists weaknesses. If a brand has none worth naming, we have not tested it hard enough.
- We have never accepted, and will never accept, payment to remove a negative finding.
What commission can affect
We are not going to pretend commerce is invisible. A commercial relationship can affect whether a brand is on our testing schedule at all, because testing costs money and time. What it cannot affect is what we publish once the testing is done. If a partner brand tests badly, the bad result goes up — and if it falls below our licensing or payout threshold, it comes off the website entirely, commission or not.
Rankings and ordering
The order of brands on our shortlist is determined by the overall score, highest first. Where two brands score identically, the one with the faster verified withdrawal is listed first. Position is never sold.
Bonus offers and terms
Any promotional detail mentioned in a review reflects what was published by the operator at the time of testing. Offers change frequently and are subject to the operator's own terms, wagering conditions, eligibility rules and country restrictions. Always read the operator's current terms in full before you register — ours are editorial commentary, not an offer.
Independence, in one line
PRESTIGEMARK holds no gambling licence, takes no wagers, holds no customer funds and is not owned by any gambling operator or supplier.
