About

WHO WE ARE
AND WHY

PRESTIGEMARK is an independent editorial team based in London, founded in 2026. We publish hands-on reviews of casino brands licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. We are not an operator, we hold no gambling licence, we take no wagers and we hold no customer funds.

Why we started

Britain has no shortage of "top 50" lists. What it lacked was somewhere that would say, in plain English, what actually happens after you press withdraw. Most listings are assembled from operator press material and ranked by whoever pays the most. We started PRESTIGEMARK in 2026 because the team was tired of reading recommendations nobody had tested.

So we set a rule on day one that has not moved since: nothing is published on this website unless an editor has opened a real account, funded it with our own money, and taken money back out. If we have not done that, it does not go up — no matter what is offered.

What independence means here

Some of the links on this website are commercial. When a reader follows one and later opens an account, we may receive a commission from the operator. That is how the lights stay on, and we state it on every page rather than burying it. What that commission cannot buy is a number. Scores are produced against a fixed six-part rubric, by an editor, before any commercial conversation takes place, and the weaknesses go in the review whether the brand likes them or not. We have never removed a criticism in exchange for money and we will not start. The full arrangement is set out on our Disclosure page.

The rubric

Six categories, each scored out of ten from evidence recorded during testing, then weighted into the headline figure:

  • Licensing & safety (25%) — verified entry on the Gambling Commission public register, age verification, identity checks, data handling.
  • Withdrawal speed (25%) — three timed withdrawals of different sizes on different methods, measured against the operator's own published window.
  • Lobby breadth (15%) — studios represented, live-table coverage, visible return-to-player information, search and filtering.
  • Mobile experience (15%) — real-device testing on a mid-range Android handset and an iPhone, including a throttled connection.
  • Support quality (10%) — five contacts at different hours, measuring response time, accuracy and willingness to quote the relevant term.
  • Terms fairness (10%) — wagering conditions, withdrawal caps, dormancy rules and account-closure policy, read in full.

A word on who this is for
